This study aims to determine the prospects for education in the millennial era in economic growth. The approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are: Interviews, Observations and Documentation. The results of the study indicate that in the role of the Al Falah Islamic Boarding School Sumber Gayam Kadur Pamekasan chose to act as a facilitator between sellers and buyers, which means that the Islamic boarding school only allows the community to sell various products that are very much needed by all students and help in providing opportunities to improve the economy of the community in the environment around the boarding school. By motivating the community to produce a product that provides selling value and the Al Falah Islamic Boarding School provides an opportunity for the community to sell the products they produce. In this case, the Al Falah Islamic Boarding School is not a business actor but rather an encouragement and motivation in raising the community to improve its economy. While as a supporting factor, there is media that is a liaison between the Islamic boarding school and the community, so that all Islamic boarding school activities, including economic activities, can be conveyed to the community.

The study concludes that Islamic boarding schools play a crucial role as educational assets with strong character-building foundations.These institutions contribute to the development of responsible future educators and require government support for their continued progress.The study also highlights the importance of preserving traditional educational methods alongside modern approaches, and emphasizes the role of Islamic boarding schools as facilitators in boosting the local economy by connecting producers and consumers.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan yang dapat dilakukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam model-model fasilitasi ekonomi yang efektif antara pondok pesantren dan masyarakat sekitar, termasuk studi komparatif antar pondok pesantren dengan karakteristik yang berbeda. Kedua, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih adaptif di pondok pesantren, yang tidak hanya menekankan pendidikan agama tetapi juga membekali santri dengan keterampilan kewirausahaan dan manajemen bisnis yang relevan dengan era digital. Ketiga, penelitian perlu dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor penghambat yang lebih spesifik dalam peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar pondok pesantren, seperti akses terhadap modal, pelatihan, dan pemasaran, serta merumuskan solusi yang tepat sasaran. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan peran strategis pondok pesantren sebagai pusat pengembangan pendidikan dan ekonomi masyarakat.
