Briliant: Jurnal Riset dan KonseptualBriliant: Jurnal Riset dan KonseptualIn the context of Indonesias ongoing educational reform, this study aims to analyze the implementation needs of the Sekolah Penggerak program in fostering the Pancasila Student Profile across three educational institutions in North Lombok Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis as primary data collection techniques. Six key factors were examined, namely human resources, curriculum implementation, facilities and infrastructure, extracurricular activities, funding and school environment. The findings indicate that the successful implementation of the program largely depends on the professional competence and leadership capacity of teachers and school principals, as well as the adequacy of school facilities. Curriculum adaptation that integrates Pancasila values into teaching and learning processes is essential in strengthening character formation. Extracurricular activities also play a strategic role in internalizing character values beyond classroom instruction. Moreover, a supportive school environment and effective financial management significantly enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of program implementation. This study contributes to the development of strategic approaches for strengthening character education policies and improving the practical implementation of the Sekolah Penggerak initiative in Indonesia.
The Sekolah Penggerak program is a crucial initiative by the Indonesian government to enhance education quality.Successful implementation requires a holistic approach encompassing human resource development, adequate facilities, a Pancasila-focused curriculum, a conducive learning environment, and efficient funding.The program aims to shape students into competent individuals with a strong sense of national values and character.Continuous strengthening of teacher training, facility improvements, and curriculum development are essential for achieving the programs goals.
Further research should investigate the long-term impact of the Sekolah Penggerak program on student character development and academic achievement, utilizing longitudinal studies to track student progress beyond their immediate school experience. Additionally, a comparative study examining the implementation of the program across diverse regional contexts – considering variations in socio-economic conditions and cultural backgrounds – could reveal best practices and identify challenges specific to different areas of Indonesia. Finally, research is needed to explore the effectiveness of various teacher training models in equipping educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to integrate Pancasila values into their teaching practices and foster a supportive learning environment, potentially focusing on innovative pedagogical approaches and the use of technology to enhance character education.
