This study aims to determine efforts to prevent doping abuse in sports athletes. This is due to the abuse of doping which unwittingly contains substances that are harmful to health if used too often. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, which is a research method that utilizes qualitative data and is described descriptively. The purpose of qualitative descriptive analysis is to describe fully and in depth about the occurrence of various phenomena that are being analyzed. The results of this study are to increase knowledge in dealing with doping abuse among athletes, the effects of doping, and types of doping.

Although sports are closely related to competition to achieve success, the reality is that some athletes use methods that are not in accordance with applicable regulations.It is necessary to socialize the dangers of using dangerous doping substances, the effects of doping, and the positive and negative things from doping to coaches, organizations that organize sports parties and athletes themselves.Therefore, guidance for athletes, especially in the use of prohibited objects such as doping, should be continuously provided by organizing organizations, and athletes should prioritize honesty and utilize objects that do not harm their physical and mental well-being when competing.

Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk menggali lebih dalam faktor-faktor psikologis yang mendorong atlet melakukan doping, seperti tekanan dari pelatih, orang tua, atau ekspektasi pribadi. Studi ini dapat menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap atlet untuk memahami pengalaman dan motivasi mereka. Selain itu, penting untuk meneliti efektivitas program edukasi anti-doping yang ada, termasuk bagaimana program tersebut dapat disesuaikan untuk menjangkau berbagai kelompok atlet dan pelatih. Penelitian ini dapat menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan survei untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan dan kesadaran tentang doping sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program edukasi. Terakhir, penelitian perlu difokuskan pada pengembangan metode deteksi doping yang lebih canggih dan akurat, serta mempercepat proses pengujian sampel untuk memastikan keadilan dalam kompetisi olahraga. Hal ini dapat melibatkan kolaborasi dengan laboratorium dan ahli kimia untuk mengembangkan teknologi baru dalam bidang anti-doping.
