One of the important factors in the success of a company in achieving its vision and mission is the quality of Human Resources (HR). The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of implementing human resource development in an effort to improve employee performance competencies. This study observes the application of Human Resources in the management of PT. Nugraha Ekakurir Trail Agent Counter Park Royal Sidoarjo. The research method used is an approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques for interviewee questions then the results are used for company analysis. The results of the study identified that the implementation of human resource development at the JNE Park Royal sales counter, namely on-the-job training, education/training and seminars at the central JNE company, had an impact on increasing employee performance competencies, it can be said that human resource development must continue to be implemented to maintain the companys performance and turnover remained stable and even increased.

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia sangat berdampak pada peningkatan kompentensi kinerja karyawan, dengan terjadinya peningkatan kinerja karyawan maka output yang didapatkan perusahaan juga semakin baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan omset perusahaan.Implementasi pengembangan sumber daya manusia pada sales counter jne park royal yakni training didalam tempat kerja, pendidikan/pelatihan dan seminar pada perusahaan JNE pusat.Pendidikan dan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan karyawan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas, kompetensi dan pengelolaan risiko yang akan dihadapi, serta profesionalisme dalam melakukan pekerjaan.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan yang dapat dikembangkan. Pertama, penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai efektivitas berbagai metode pelatihan yang diterapkan, dengan fokus pada pengukuran dampak pelatihan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan spesifik yang relevan dengan tugas karyawan. Kedua, penelitian dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi peran kepemimpinan dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan SDM, termasuk bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan yang berbeda dapat memengaruhi motivasi dan komitmen karyawan terhadap pengembangan diri. Ketiga, penelitian dapat menginvestigasi hubungan antara iklim kerja yang positif dan kinerja karyawan, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor seperti komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan dukungan sosial di tempat kerja. Dengan menggabungkan ketiga saran ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai bagaimana perusahaan dapat mengoptimalkan investasi dalam pengembangan SDM untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif.
