The research employs a qualitative library research method, analyzing literature from academic journals, government reports, and fintech publications related to Sharia-compliant financial technologies. The results indicate that Sharia fintech provides inclusive, ethical, and flexible financing for halal MSMEs through profit-sharing contracts like mudharabah and musyarakah. The integration of AI enhances operational efficiency, risk assessment, and compliance with Sharia principles. Challenges include regulatory gaps, low digital literacy among MSMEs, and ethical concerns regarding AI algorithms. Strategies such as regulatory adaptation, education programs, ethical governance frameworks, and multi-sector collaboration are essential to maximize the benefits of Sharia fintech for MSMEs, strengthening the halal economy and promoting sustainable economic independence.
Optimizing halal MSME financing through Artificial Intelligence-based sharia fintech has a strategic role in strengthening economic independence.This research shows that sharia fintech allows fair, transparent, and Islamic access to capital, while AI improves efficiency, accuracy, and risk management in financing.Effective implementation strategies include regulatory adaptation, digital and sharia literacy education, the development of ethical AI governance, and multi-sector collaboration.
Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, terdapat beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan yang dapat dilakukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengembangkan kerangka kerja tata kelola AI yang adaptif dan sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip maqāṣid al-sharia dalam konteks fintech Islam, termasuk audit algoritma, transparansi model, dan akuntabilitas sistem AI. Kedua, penelitian perlu dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pendidikan dan pelatihan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi digital dan sharia di kalangan pelaku UMKM halal, dengan fokus pada pemahaman tentang kontrak bagi hasil seperti mudharabah dan musyarakah. Ketiga, penelitian lanjutan dapat mengeksplorasi model kolaborasi multi-sektor yang melibatkan regulator (OJK, DSN-MUI), pengembang fintech syariah, akademisi, dan komunitas UMKM untuk menciptakan ekosistem yang mendukung inovasi halal yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memaksimalkan potensi fintech syariah berbasis AI untuk mendorong kemandirian ekonomi umat dan memperkuat ekonomi nasional.
