This study examines the influence of job fulfillment at PT. Surya Dharma Utama, considering career development and work environment. A quantitative research method was employed, surveying 58 workers. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews, analyzed using SPSS26. The results indicate a positive and statistically significant impact of career development and work culture on job satisfaction. Improving work culture and promoting career development can enhance employee job satisfaction, contributing to organizational performance. This research is significant for PT. Surya Dharma Utama (SDU) Semarang in devising strategies to improve worker satisfaction and performance.

The research concludes that both career development and work culture significantly influence job satisfaction at PT.Providing employees with growth opportunities and fostering a positive work environment are crucial for enhancing their satisfaction.These findings provide valuable insights for the company to develop strategies aimed at improving employee well-being and overall organizational performance.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap mediasi hubungan antara pengembangan karir dan kepuasan kerja, mengingat pemimpin yang inspiratif dapat memperkuat dampak positif dari program pengembangan karir. Selain itu, studi kualitatif mendalam dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi secara rinci bagaimana berbagai dimensi budaya kerja, seperti komunikasi internal dan dukungan sosial, berkontribusi pada kepuasan kerja karyawan. Terakhir, penelitian longitudinal dapat dilakukan untuk melacak perubahan kepuasan kerja karyawan dari waktu ke waktu setelah implementasi program pengembangan karir dan peningkatan budaya kerja, sehingga dapat memberikan bukti yang lebih kuat mengenai efektivitas intervensi tersebut dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kontekstual yang mungkin memoderasi hubungan tersebut.
