Numeracy skills are an important component of 21st century learning and are a reference in PISA results. This research aims to improve numeracy skills in fractional materials through a problem-based learning model assisted by kahoot media. The subject of the study was a grade VI student of SD Negeri 3 Karangtengah. The research method applied is class action research. The research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Each meeting consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation/observation, and reflection. The research instruments used were numeracy skills tests and observation sheets on learning implementation. The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative by analyzing the increase in the cycle of the numeracy test and learning observation sheets. The results of the study show that the application of the problem-based learning model assisted by kahoot media can improve students numeracy skills. This condition is evidenced by the results of the numeracy skills test in the implementation of the first cycle, obtaining an average score of 78.75% then increasing in the second cycle by 80%. The results of the research provide scientific and practical contributions on learning innovations that are encouraging and support the improvement of learning outcomes, especially numeracy.

The study concludes that a problem-based learning model assisted by Kahoot media effectively improves the numeracy skills of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 3 Karangtengah.This improvement is demonstrated by the increased average scores on numeracy skills tests, rising from 78.75% in the first cycle to 80% in the second cycle.The research highlights the success of this approach in enhancing students abilities in fractional materials, indicating its potential for broader implementation.However, the study acknowledges limitations regarding sample size, material scope, and the focus on cognitive aspects, suggesting avenues for future research.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan dengan memperluas cakupan studi ke beberapa sekolah untuk menguji generalisasi efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang dibantu oleh Kahoot. Selain itu, penelitian dapat menggali lebih dalam pengaruh model ini terhadap aspek afektif siswa, seperti kepercayaan diri dan motivasi belajar, untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang dampaknya. Sebagai pengembangan, penelitian dapat menginvestigasi penggunaan model ini dengan integrasi materi lokal atau etnomatemika, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan relevansi pembelajaran dengan konteks budaya mereka. Dengan mempertimbangkan keterbatasan penelitian ini, studi mendatang perlu memperluas variabel yang diteliti, tidak hanya terbatas pada kemampuan numerasi, tetapi juga mencakup keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah yang lebih kompleks. Hal ini akan memberikan gambaran yang lebih holistik tentang manfaat model pembelajaran ini bagi perkembangan siswa secara keseluruhan.
