The objective of this research is to explain how the Master and Mastery cards game improve students vocabulary acquisition and participation learning process of applying Master and Mastery cards game in teaching vocabulary for tenth grade students of a vocational school. This research was carried out with a classroom action research design. Field notes were the instruments to collect the qualitative data. While vocabulary test and gained the quantitative data that strengthen the quantitative data. The increasing of the test 1 and test 2 was 22.83 point. Responding to that result the teacher-researcher decided to stop the cycle at cycle two. According to the researcher and co-observers observation students participated actively while playing Master and Mastery vocabulary cards game. This research significantly increased students vocabulary acquisition as well as participation.

Based on the research findings and observations, it can be concluded that the Master and Mastery cards game effectively enhances students vocabulary acquisition and engagement.Students actively participated while playing the game in groups, demonstrating improved learning outcomes.The study confirms that utilizing the Master and Mastery cards game as a learning medium can motivate students and facilitate better vocabulary retention.

Further research should investigate the long-term effects of using the Master and Mastery cards game on students vocabulary retention and application in real-world communication scenarios. Additionally, studies could explore the effectiveness of adapting the game for different proficiency levels and learning styles, potentially incorporating digital versions for increased accessibility. Finally, research could examine the impact of integrating this game-based approach with other vocabulary learning strategies to create a more comprehensive and effective curriculum, ultimately fostering a more engaging and successful language learning experience for vocational school students and beyond. These investigations will contribute to a deeper understanding of how game-based learning can be optimized to enhance vocabulary development and overall language proficiency.
