This study examines the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning medium for Islamic Education and Character Building at Poso 1 Public Senior High School. In the digital era, ICT has become an essential tool for creating innovative and interactive learning environments. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that ICT significantly enhances student engagement and understanding through digital platforms and multimedia presentations. While challenges such as limited hardware and unstable internet connectivity persist, the overall implementation has proven effective. Beyond cognitive gains, the integration of ICT fosters positive character development and critical thinking aligned with Islamic values. This study concludes that technology integration is a strategic necessity to address modern educational challenges while maintaining the core principles of religious education.

The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Islamic Education at Poso 1 Public Senior High School has proven to be highly effective in enhancing student engagement and simplifying complex religious concepts.By utilizing various digital tools, teachers are able to create a more dynamic learning environment that shifts from traditional one-way communication to a more student-centered approach.Despite several challenges, the school has implemented strategic solutions, ensuring the purposeful use of ICT transforms religious education into a more relevant and meaningful experience.

Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, terdapat beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan yang dapat dikembangkan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas berbagai jenis media digital dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran agama Islam, dengan fokus pada perbedaan gaya belajar siswa. Kedua, penting untuk meneliti bagaimana pelatihan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mengatasi tantangan terkait infrastruktur yang terbatas. Ketiga, penelitian kuantitatif dapat dilakukan untuk mengukur dampak integrasi ICT terhadap prestasi akademik siswa dan perkembangan karakter, dengan melibatkan sampel yang lebih besar dan beragam dari berbagai sekolah.
