Increasing student participation and engagement is a crucial benefit of interactive education. Education serves as a medium for knowledge transfer and helps society develop critical thinking, self-control, and a strong sense of morality. This study aims to determine the influence of interactive teaching methods on student participation in Buddhist education. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey methods and data analysis using descriptive statistics. The study sample consisted of thirty students selected using a saturated sampling technique. The findings show that interactive learning positively and significantly influences student participation. This supports the research hypothesis that teaching methods can increase students motivation, engagement, and active participation in the learning process. This study shows that although interactive learning significantly impacts student participation, other external factors also affect learning. This approach encourages students to be more active in the learning process through group projects, cooperative learning, and discussions, thereby increasing confidence and class engagement.

The study concludes that interactive teaching style has a positive and significant influence on student participation.This finding confirms that a more interactive teaching style can increase student engagement and participation in the learning process.While interactive teaching style significantly impacts student participation, other factors also play a role in student learning.

Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk menggali lebih dalam faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, seperti motivasi intrinsik, gaya belajar individu, dan lingkungan sosial di sekitar siswa. Selain itu, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan model pembelajaran interaktif yang lebih spesifik dan terstruktur, yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik mata pelajaran dan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya juga dapat mengeksplorasi efektivitas berbagai teknik interaktif, seperti diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, simulasi, dan penggunaan teknologi digital, dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan partisipatif bagi semua siswa. Penelitian lanjutan juga dapat meneliti pengaruh pelatihan guru dalam menerapkan gaya mengajar interaktif terhadap peningkatan partisipasi siswa, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan solusi dalam implementasi gaya mengajar ini di berbagai konteks pendidikan.
