This research aims to develop an accounting e-module for contextual-based learning to increase students interest in accounting. This contextual learning connects accounting with the application of financial literacy, particularly in financial planning. The development research method utilizes the ADDIE development procedure model. Validation by media, material, and language experts, as well as feasibility trials, targets students from the class of 2022/2023 of the Social Sciences Education Study Program (Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Sosial - PIPS) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. Interest was measured using a questionnaire administered to the experimental and control classes. The research results indicate that the interest of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, demonstrating the effectiveness of using contextual-based e-modules in learning.

The research and development using the ADDIE model successfully created an Introduction to Accounting e-module that was validated by experts and students.The e-module was deemed highly suitable and valid for use as a learning medium for students of the PIPS FITK UIN Malang Study Program.Furthermore, the development of this accounting module effectively enhances students interest in learning, particularly in studying Accounting, due to its integration with everyday life practices such as recording and managing personal finances.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas e-modul akuntansi ini pada kelompok siswa dengan karakteristik yang berbeda, seperti tingkat sosioekonomi atau gaya belajar yang beragam, guna memastikan generalisasi hasil penelitian. Selain itu, pengembangan e-modul dapat diperluas dengan menambahkan fitur interaktif seperti simulasi kasus bisnis atau permainan edukatif untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memperdalam pemahaman konsep akuntansi. Terakhir, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan model pelatihan bagi guru akuntansi untuk mengintegrasikan e-modul ini secara efektif dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari, termasuk strategi pemanfaatan fitur-fitur e-modul dan adaptasi materi sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran akuntansi secara berkelanjutan dan mempersiapkan siswa dengan keterampilan keuangan yang relevan untuk masa depan.
