This study aims to analyze the implementation of green innovation strategies in promoting business sustainability at UD Bokor Rotan Indah, a trading enterprise engaged in rattan and woven handicraft production. This research is based on a decline in sales over the past two years, along with increasing market demand for environmentally friendly and sustainable products. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The green innovations examined in this study include product, process, organizational, and business model innovations oriented toward resource efficiency and environmental impact reduction. The findings indicate that the implementation of green innovation strategies enhances business competitiveness, expands market opportunities, and supports the economic and environmental sustainability of UD Bokor Rotan Indah.

The implementation of green innovation at UD Bokor Rotan Indah plays a crucial role in promoting business sustainability through product, process, organizational, and business innovations that emphasize environmentally friendly raw materials, production efficiency, human resource development, and sustainable business models.This results in increased competitiveness, a stronger environmentally responsible brand image, and expanded market opportunities.The study highlights the importance of integrating comprehensive green innovation strategies for small and medium enterprises in environmentally sensitive industries.However, the company still faces constraints related to limited production scale, dependence on natural raw materials, and suboptimal utilization of digital technology.

Future research should focus on exploring strategies to scale sustainable production at UD Bokor Rotan Indah, potentially investigating the feasibility of collaborative production models or technology adoption to increase output while maintaining environmental standards. Furthermore, a deeper investigation into diversifying the sourcing of eco-friendly raw materials is warranted, examining alternative materials or establishing more resilient supply chains to mitigate risks associated with reliance on natural resources. Finally, research could explore the optimal integration of digital technologies – beyond basic promotion – into UD Bokor Rotan Indahs operations, such as utilizing e-commerce platforms, implementing data analytics for market insights, or employing digital tools for supply chain management, to enhance market reach and operational efficiency, ultimately contributing to long-term business sustainability and resilience in a dynamic market environment.
