Companies must be able to provide quality products at relatively efficient prices and distribute them quickly to survive and excel in competition. Companies need to collaborate with various parties to innovate and create competitive advantages. Suppliers are essential actors as providers of resources that companies need precisely, quickly, and efficiently, so good supply chain management is required. Companies must be able to assess supplier performance appropriately because this is the key to the success of successful SCM. The object of this research was carried out at the company PT. Freeport Indonesia. This company experienced several problems related to the instability of the supply of silica powder as a reducing agent for copper ore, such as non-fulfilment of order quantities, delays, price changes and so on. This research aims to identify appropriate criteria related to supplier performance using the SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) and ANP methods in the companies studied. From the results of this research, the best supplier criteria will be obtained based on quantitatively weighted classifications.

Generally, using the SCOR method to assess supplier performance with the identified indicators shows an excellent average, though some indicators require improvement.Utilizing the ANP approach, the criteria and sub-criteria demonstrate mutual influence in determining choices.The DELIVERY criterion and its sub-criteria, particularly Delivery Item Accuracy for Supplier, are prioritized.Smelting Indonesia should prioritize the DELIVERY and SOURCE criteria, along with Delivery Item Accuracy for Supplier, Product Defect from Production, and Material Efficiency (Yield) when selecting suppliers.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan untuk memperdalam pemahaman mengenai manajemen rantai pasok dan kinerja pemasok di PT. Freeport Indonesia. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan teknologi digital seperti blockchain atau Internet of Things (IoT) dalam meningkatkan transparansi dan ketertelusuran rantai pasok silica powder, sehingga dapat mengurangi risiko keterlambatan dan memastikan kualitas bahan baku. Kedua, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan dengan membandingkan kinerja pemasok silica powder PT. Freeport Indonesia dengan perusahaan pertambangan lain yang serupa, untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan peluang peningkatan. Ketiga, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan model prediktif yang mampu memprediksi potensi gangguan dalam rantai pasok silica powder berdasarkan data historis dan faktor eksternal seperti kondisi cuaca atau perubahan kebijakan pemerintah, sehingga perusahaan dapat mengambil tindakan preventif untuk meminimalkan dampak negatifnya. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, ketahanan, dan keberlanjutan rantai pasok PT. Freeport Indonesia.
