English for Specific Purposes (ESP) adalah pendekatan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang berbasis pada kebutuhan siswa untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang spesifik atau keahlian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis metode pembelajaran ESP yang diterapkan oleh dosen di Universitas Hafsawaty Zainul Hasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pembelajaran bahasa Inggris karena kurangnya media pembelajaran yang mendukung dan metode pembelajaran yang tidak inovatif.

Pembelajaran ESP untuk siswa (mahasiswa kedokteran) cukup baik, tetapi memerlukan sedikit media pembantu untuk memudahkan siswa memahami pelajaran bahasa Inggris atau ESP.Dosen harus menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif agar siswa tidak mengalami pembelajaran yang monoton.Siswa sering merasa bosan dan tidak tertarik dengan sistem pembelajaran yang cenderung monoton.

Penelitian lanjutan dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran ESP yang lebih inovatif dan efektif, serta untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran ESP. Selain itu, penelitian dapat dilakukan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan siswa dalam pembelajaran ESP dan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Dengan demikian, diharapkan pembelajaran ESP dapat menjadi lebih efektif dan menyenangkan bagi siswa.
