The purpose of this study is to describe the chronology of the development of the mission of evangelism and Christian GMIM education, to study zending biographical narratives, to evaluate and correct the quality of GMIM Christian schools and to design a model for the development of GMIM Christian education in the future. To achieve this goal, a qualitative research method is used with a biographical narrative criticism approach. To collect field data, this research uses observation, interview and documentation study techniques. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that; The foundation stone of the mission of evangelism and Christian education GMIM in Minahasa is Hellendoorn through the method of foster children, the establishment of schools and churches; Education is a shared responsibility of government, church and society. The government together with the Foundation are taking steps to rebuild the GMIM school as a shared responsibility, through the Ministry of Religion, in this case the Directorate General of Christian Community Guidance.

Education and evangelism are inseparable and cannot be seen hierarchically in their implementation.The foster education model and meeting invitations are key strategies for the success of the Zendeling in Minahasa.Education has not been regulated in the GMIM church structure since 1990 and there is no education program that is structured as a manifestation of the importance of education as part of the three pillars of GMIMs strength.

Berdasarkan temuan penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam bagaimana model pendidikan asuh dapat diadaptasi dan diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan Kristen kontemporer di Minahasa, dengan mempertimbangkan tantangan dan peluang yang ada. Kedua, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan untuk membandingkan efektivitas berbagai pendekatan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah-sekolah Kristen GMIM, termasuk peran serta pemerintah, yayasan, dan masyarakat. Ketiga, penelitian kualitatif mendalam dapat dilakukan untuk memahami perspektif dan pengalaman para pemangku kepentingan utama, seperti guru, siswa, orang tua, dan pemimpin gereja, mengenai tantangan dan harapan mereka terhadap pendidikan Kristen GMIM, serta bagaimana harapan tersebut dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam perencanaan dan implementasi program pendidikan yang lebih efektif. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas dan relevansi pendidikan Kristen GMIM di Minahasa, serta memperkuat perannya dalam membentuk karakter dan mempersiapkan generasi muda untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan.
