This study aims to analyze the teachers strategy in developing pedagogical competence to improve the effectiveness of Fiqh learning. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that teachers pedagogical competence plays an important role in creating interactive and applicable learning. The strategies applied include the use of innovative learning methods, the utilization of technology, and contextual approaches that are relevant to students daily lives. Supporting factors for the success of this strategy include students enthusiasm for learning, the availability of learning media, and the support of the school environment. However, there are obstacles such as limited facilities and lack of variety in teaching methods that are still a challenge. The conclusion of this study confirms that strengthening teachers pedagogical competence through continuous training and support from educational institutions is a strategic step in improving the effectiveness of Fiqh learning. Therefore, the main recommendation of this study is the need to develop a program to improve teacher competence in order to be able to design more interesting and meaningful learning for students.

The teachers strategy in developing pedagogical competence is crucial for enhancing the effectiveness of Fiqh learning.Teachers with strong pedagogical competence can create interactive, relevant, and applicable learning experiences, enabling students to not only understand the theory but also practice it in daily life.This research highlights the importance of innovative learning methods, technology integration, and contextual approaches in improving student understanding of Fiqh materials.

Based on the findings of this study, future research could explore the development of specific training modules designed to enhance teachers pedagogical competence in Fiqh, focusing on innovative teaching methods and technology integration. Furthermore, research is needed to investigate the impact of school leadership support and resource allocation on teachers ability to implement effective pedagogical strategies in Fiqh classrooms. Finally, a comparative study examining the effectiveness of different pedagogical approaches in Fiqh learning across diverse educational settings, considering factors such as student demographics and school context, would provide valuable insights for improving the quality of Fiqh education. These research directions build upon the existing literature and address the identified challenges and opportunities for enhancing Fiqh learning through improved teacher competence and supportive educational environments.
