This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in reducing the negative impact of gadget addiction on the morals of the Alpha generation. This generation is growing in rapid technological developments, which are prone to cause adverse impacts due to excessive use of gadgets. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through a literature review, which includes articles, scientific journals, books, and related research reports. The findings of the study show that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character and morals of the Alpha generation, especially in overcoming gadget addiction. Islamic Religious Education provides direction on the wise use of technology and equips the younger generation with moral values that can balance gadgets with their social lives. The role of parents and educators in supervision is also necessary to prevent adverse impacts such as antisocial traits, poor communication ethics, and weakened empathy. Gadget addiction can also have an impact on childrens physical and psychological health. The contribution of this research is to provide insight into the importance of integrating Islamic Religious Education (PAI) values in education to overcome the negative impact of technology on the morals and morals of the Alpha generation. Thus, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) can be a solution to maintain the morals of the young generation in this digital era.

The study concludes that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in addressing the negative impacts of gadget addiction on the moral development of Generation Alpha.It emphasizes the importance of instilling Islamic values such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy to counteract the challenges posed by excessive technology use.Effective collaboration between parents, educators, and the community is essential to create a supportive environment that promotes responsible gadget usage and fosters positive character development in the digital age.

Further research should investigate the effectiveness of specific PAI-based interventions designed to promote mindful technology use among Generation Alpha, potentially through the development of digital literacy programs that integrate Islamic ethical principles. Additionally, studies could explore the role of parental mediation strategies, informed by Islamic teachings, in guiding childrens online experiences and fostering healthy digital habits. Finally, research is needed to examine how PAI can be adapted to address the evolving technological landscape and the unique challenges faced by Generation Alpha, including the impact of social media and online gaming on their moral and social development, ensuring that the curriculum remains relevant and effective in cultivating a generation grounded in both faith and digital competence. These investigations should involve a diverse range of stakeholders, including educators, parents, religious leaders, and the children themselves, to ensure that the findings are practical, culturally sensitive, and contribute to a holistic approach to character formation in the digital age.
