The present study aims to investigate the relationship between learning satisfaction and re-participation intention of senior learning, and use happiness as a moderator. A questionnaire survey was conducted in Tainan city, testing learners aged 55 and above. A total of 486 valid questionnaires were received from an initial 521 distributed. The results indicated a positive effect between happiness and re-participation intention; specifically, higher psychological and emotional happiness among senior learners correlated with a greater intention to re-participate. The study suggests that improving seniors sense of happiness can enhance the promoting effect of course satisfaction on re-participation intention. Therefore, training institutions should focus not only on course quality and teaching effects but also on improving learners happiness to encourage continued participation in learning activities, ultimately improving their overall quality of life.

This study confirms the significant positive influence of learning satisfaction, particularly through teacher quality and peer relationships, on the re-participation intention of senior learners.Furthermore, emotional, psychological, and social happiness play a crucial role in enhancing this relationship.The findings underscore the importance of fostering a positive learning environment that prioritizes both academic quality and the overall well-being of senior learners to promote continued engagement and improve their quality of life.

Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam jenis intervensi spesifik yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan kebahagiaan emosional, psikologis, dan sosial pada peserta didik senior. Sebagai contoh, penelitian dapat berfokus pada efektivitas program pembelajaran berbasis komunitas yang dirancang untuk memperkuat hubungan sosial dan rasa memiliki. Selain itu, penting untuk meneliti bagaimana karakteristik individu, seperti latar belakang budaya dan tingkat kesehatan, memengaruhi hubungan antara kebahagiaan dan niat untuk berpartisipasi kembali dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian di masa depan juga dapat menyelidiki peran teknologi dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran senior yang lebih inklusif dan menarik, serta bagaimana teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kebahagiaan dan kesejahteraan peserta didik. Dengan memahami faktor-faktor ini secara lebih komprehensif, kita dapat mengembangkan program pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan bermakna bagi populasi senior yang terus bertambah, sehingga mendukung penuaan yang aktif dan berkualitas.
