Islam is a religion of dawah that demands its adherents to always convey messages of goodness, both in attitude (bil al-hal) and in words (bil lisan). The elements of dawah are required to conform to the conditions in which the dawah is taking place. In the era of global technology, dawah activities have the opportunity to remain consistent in their dissemination, but on the other hand, these activities are also challenged by the existence of technology. This article discusses how the challenges and benefits of communication technology as a facility for modern dawah in the midst of controversy over the existence of its activities by utilizing communication and technology. Management in dawah activities is now required to always be able to compromise with social conditions, message management, methods, strategies, and even different rhetorical languages from conventional dawah so that it does not cause unease or discomfort regarding such activities.

The development of technology has influenced not only commercial and tourism activities but also, broadly, dawah activities.Technological advancements have impacted the way people think and behave, leading to a dynamic in dawah.Utilizing technology brings both positive and negative impacts on society, creating challenges for dawah.Adapting dawah activities to the fast-paced and easily accessible information and communication era is crucial, and leveraging information technology and advancements is not merely a natural demand but also an encouragement in Islam to remain flexible and relevant to existing conditions as an answer to Islam being a blessing for all worlds, especially in the field of dawah both theoretically and practically.

Berdasarkan analisis terhadap latar belakang, metode, hasil, dan keterbatasan penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam dampak spesifik berbagai platform media sosial terhadap efektivitas dakwah di kalangan generasi muda, termasuk analisis konten dan strategi komunikasi yang paling efektif. Kedua, penting untuk meneliti bagaimana dai dapat mengembangkan literasi digital dan keterampilan komunikasi yang adaptif untuk menghadapi disinformasi dan polarisasi di ruang siber, serta membangun kepercayaan dan kredibilitas di kalangan audiens online. Ketiga, penelitian selanjutnya dapat berfokus pada pengembangan model manajemen dakwah yang integratif, menggabungkan pendekatan tradisional dan modern, serta mempertimbangkan aspek etika dan tanggung jawab sosial dalam pemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan relevansi dakwah di era digital, serta memperkuat peran agama dalam membangun masyarakat yang harmonis dan berkeadilan.
