The complexity of science topics makes it difficult for students to understand all science concepts correctly. Mobile devices can help students to be more focused and efficient in learning. The study aimed to develop the android - based mobile application about the earth layer and include its natural disaster concept. The development model used was the 4D Model. This research produces a product in the form of Earth Panel Cellular Application. The expert validation average score of 3.38, which is in the excellent category, shows that the earth layer application is suitable for usage. The applications effectiveness can be quite effective in enhancing students cognitive learning outcomes based on the gained sig. The significance of application is said to be quite effective in improving cognitive learning outcomes with a value of 0.000 less than 0.05.

The study resulted in the creation of an Earth Layer Mobile Application using the 4D development model.The application received an expert validation average score of 3.Furthermore, the application was found to be effective in enhancing students cognitive learning outcomes, as evidenced by a significant difference in scores before and after its implementation.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi ini dengan menambahkan fitur kuis interaktif untuk menguji pemahaman siswa secara mandiri. Selain itu, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan aplikasi serupa untuk topik-topik sains lain yang dianggap sulit dipahami oleh siswa, seperti konsep kimia atau fisika. Terakhir, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan untuk membandingkan efektivitas aplikasi ini dengan metode pembelajaran tradisional, serta mengeksplorasi pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi belajar dan retensi pengetahuan siswa dalam jangka panjang. Pengembangan aplikasi yang responsif terhadap berbagai perangkat Android dan mempertimbangkan aksesibilitas bagi siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus juga merupakan arah penelitian yang menjanjikan.
