This study aims to analyze the influence of influencer marketing and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) on purchase decisions through brand trust as a mediating variable on Facetology Sunscreen products in Pekanbaru. This research used a quantitative method with purposive sampling, totaling 98 respondents aged 13-28 years who had purchased or used Facetology sunscreen products. Data analysis used SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results showed that influencer marketing and E-WOM positively and significantly influence brand trust and purchase decisions, both directly and indirectly. Brand trust mediates the influence of influencer marketing and E-WOM on purchase decisions.

Influencer marketing and electronic word of mouth have a positive and significant impact on brand trust.Brand trust also positively influences purchase decisions.Furthermore, brand trust plays a mediating role in the relationship between influencer marketing, electronic word of mouth, and purchase decisions.Therefore, brands like Facetology should strengthen their influencer marketing strategies and encourage customer reviews to enhance brand trust and drive purchase decisions.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh karakteristik influencer yang berbeda (misalnya, tingkat pengikut, tingkat engagement, dan kesesuaian dengan merek) terhadap efektivitas pemasaran influencer. Selain itu, studi dapat menyelidiki peran moderasi faktor-faktor seperti jenis kelamin, usia, dan gaya hidup konsumen dalam hubungan antara pemasaran influencer, kepercayaan merek, dan keputusan pembelian. Terakhir, penelitian di masa depan dapat memperluas cakupan geografis untuk menguji generalisasi temuan ini di berbagai pasar dan budaya, serta mempertimbangkan dampak jangka panjang dari strategi pemasaran influencer terhadap loyalitas merek dan ekuitas merek.
