The development of technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including basic education. This study examines the implementation and perception of technology utilization in learning in primary schools, its positive and negative impacts, and the important role of schools and parents in guiding students. The survey results show that the majority of primary schools have integrated technology in the teaching-learning process, such as the use of PowerPoint and projectors, which are proven to increase students interest and enthusiasm. Educators and school principals realize the need to adapt teaching methods to suit technological developments, so that students are not only passive consumers, but also able to utilize technology effectively and wisely. While technology offers easy access to information, interactive learning and administrative efficiency, there are also challenges such as the potential for decreased focus, the digital divide, as well as data security issues and the spread of inaccurate information. Therefore, instilling values of wisdom, ethics and responsibility in the use of technology is crucial. Collaboration between schools and parents is needed to equip students with the ability to sort out information and avoid the negative impacts of technology, in order to create a smart and responsible generation in the digital era.

The study concludes that elementary schools have begun to integrate technology into the learning process, though the extent and specific applications vary.This integration is driven by a recognition of the need to adapt to technological advancements and enhance student engagement.However, it is crucial to equip students with wisdom and ethical understanding in technology use to mitigate potential negative impacts and ensure responsible digital citizenship.Effective collaboration between schools and parents is essential to guide students in navigating the digital world and maximizing the benefits of technology for their education and future.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai efektivitas berbagai model integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor seperti karakteristik siswa, sumber daya sekolah, dan kompetensi guru. Kedua, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan dan evaluasi program pelatihan guru yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara kreatif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran. Ketiga, penting untuk meneliti bagaimana sekolah dan keluarga dapat bekerja sama secara efektif untuk membangun literasi digital siswa, termasuk kemampuan untuk mengevaluasi informasi secara kritis, melindungi diri dari konten negatif, dan menggunakan teknologi secara bertanggung jawab. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di era digital dan mempersiapkan generasi muda yang cerdas, kreatif, dan bertanggung jawab.
