This paper focuses on the problem of Multiculturalism Education which is related to the teachings of the Quran. The Quran as a guideline for life on earth is not spared from the problems of multiculturalism. In order for the instructions to be accepted and understood collectively, it needs to be implemented in the realm of Education. The purpose of multiculturalism education is so that students can be aware of their identity, both individually and collectively. The implications of the realization of this goal are the active participation of each group member, the encounter of different identities, and the realization of social justice. Students also get the same rights and obligations in the social space and build the future of Indonesia. Meanwhile, social space becomes an arena for negotiation and dialogue that leads to a fluidity of identity so that mutual understanding and mutual recognition of the existence of each identity emerges.

Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that multiculturalism education based on the Quran accepts cosmological differences in cultural intelligence as a natural law that cannot be avoided.The Quran emphasizes the importance of recognizing diversity and understanding that differences are a manifestation of Gods power.Therefore, designing multiculturalism education in the Indonesian context is crucial to foster awareness and promote inclusive dialogue and active participation of all members of society, ultimately leading to a more just and harmonious nation.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana implementasi konkret pendidikan multikulturalisme berbasis Al-Quran dapat dilakukan di berbagai jenjang pendidikan di Indonesia, mulai dari sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. Hal ini penting untuk memastikan bahwa nilai-nilai toleransi, saling pengertian, dan keadilan sosial dapat ditanamkan sejak dini kepada generasi muda. Selain itu, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan model pembelajaran yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap keberagaman budaya dan agama di Indonesia, dengan mempertimbangkan konteks lokal dan karakteristik unik setiap daerah. Terakhir, penelitian lanjutan perlu menginvestigasi peran keluarga dan masyarakat dalam mendukung pendidikan multikulturalisme, serta bagaimana membangun sinergi antara lembaga pendidikan, keluarga, dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif dan harmonis bagi semua warga negara. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat fondasi persatuan dan kesatuan bangsa, serta mewujudkan masyarakat Indonesia yang adil, makmur, dan beradab.
