The empowerment of this community partnership involves implementing a program to enhance the green economy by increasing reading interest among Arrihlah Islamic Junior High School students through the use of solar-based ReadCharge technology. The initiative aims to encourage literacy in schools and introduce renewable energy to students as part of sustainable environmental solutions. With the use of environmentally friendly technology, it is hoped that awareness of the importance of green technology in supporting the communitys education and economic development will be created. The program started with designing and building a solar-powered stand-up ReadCharge, then making the design, making the standard operating procedure for its use, providing reading books with a variety of interesting options, and providing training on the use of ReadCharge to students, teachers, parents, and community leaders around Arrihlah Junior High School in several trainings. The training is organized systematically, from the introduction of ReadCharge and its use to its maintenance. The training evaluation provided an overview that ReadCharge delivers an in-depth understanding of the use of solar power to preserve the environment and increase reading interest for students, teachers, and the community by 100%. The practical implications of empowering community partnerships funded by grants from the Ministry of Education and Culture are part of the governments program that encourages people to develop and utilize renewable energy, namely energy sourced from solar heat.

Conclusion

The Solar Literacy Read-Charge program aims to increase public interest in reading and literacy, offering free and convenient access to diverse reading materials.The program provides benefits and uses that can help people and society as a whole, fostering a love of reading in a fun way and broadening readers horizons and knowledge.Ultimately, the program contributes to lessening the disparity in literacy and driving creativity, innovation, and productivity within the community.

Future Research

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai efektivitas jangka panjang dari penggunaan ReadCharge dalam meningkatkan minat baca dan pemahaman literasi siswa, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain yang mungkin berpengaruh seperti latar belakang sosial ekonomi dan gaya belajar individu. Kedua, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan model ReadCharge yang lebih inovatif dan terintegrasi dengan teknologi digital, seperti penggunaan aplikasi mobile untuk memantau penggunaan energi, menyediakan akses ke buku digital, dan memfasilitasi diskusi online tentang materi bacaan. Ketiga, penting untuk mengeksplorasi potensi replikasi program ReadCharge di sekolah-sekolah lain dengan karakteristik yang berbeda, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kunci yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi program tersebut, termasuk peran aktif dari pemerintah daerah, partisipasi masyarakat, dan ketersediaan sumber daya yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan kesadaran lingkungan di Indonesia.
