PT Yamaha Motor Electronics (PT YME) is a company engaged in the field of manufacturing automotive two-wheeled motor vehicles. This company produces electrical spare parts for motor vehicles. Some of the products produced include ECU / CDI, Ignition Coil, Starting Motor, Stator and Rotor. As a manufacturing company, the company would not be separated from the problem of the effectiveness of every product manufactured. The problem is not balanced between the secondary winding lines with the next line. In addition to the winding machine downtime occurs causing a decline in the effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive analysis of the work and activities for data processing and settlement issues. From the analysis conducted in PT YME, OEE values obtained in August 2014, an average value of line 1 is 79.95% and the average line 2 is 75.48%. OEE value of line 1 ranges between 68.34% - 85.58% and for line 2 ranged between 54.95% -83.91%. OEE value is still below 85% indicates that the performance of the machine, the operator and of methods that do not yet maximal. It needs to be improved to increase the value of OEE in order to achieve the standard that is> 85%. With OEE value is not stable, it will cause no guarantee of quality and quality of production. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terdapat beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas produksi di PT YME. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan sistem pemeliharaan prediktif berbasis sensor dan analisis data untuk mengidentifikasi potensi kerusakan mesin sebelum terjadi, sehingga dapat mengurangi downtime yang tidak terencana. Kedua, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan dengan membandingkan penerapan metode TPM di PT YME dengan perusahaan sejenis yang telah berhasil meningkatkan nilai OEE secara signifikan, untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik yang dapat diadopsi. Ketiga, penelitian dapat dilakukan untuk mengembangkan model simulasi yang dapat memprediksi dampak perubahan parameter produksi, seperti kecepatan mesin atau pergantian operator, terhadap nilai OEE, sehingga dapat membantu dalam pengambilan keputusan operasional yang lebih optimal. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, kualitas, dan keandalan proses produksi di PT YME, serta memperkuat daya saing perusahaan di pasar otomotif.
