This research wanted to know the competitive strategy chosen by Desa Puri Syariah Hotel to face competition in sharia accommodation industry in order to achieve company goals and objectives. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects or informants taken in this study were determined by purposive procedures. The data collection of this research is by deep interview. The conclusion of this research is with competitive strategy that applied, Desa Puri Syariah Hotel able to survive in the syariah accommodation business competition in Yogyakarta. Desa Puri Syariah Hotel can withstand the overall cost advantages that appear from the selling price of its rooms far below its competitors, the differentiation that trying to build compared to other sharia hotels is the familial relationships that management trying to build to its customers, and focus on providing halal service, Muslim niche market, and online marketing.

With its competitive strategy, Desa Puri Syariah Hotel is able to survive in the midst of syariah accommodation business competition in Yogyakarta.The hotel can withstand the overall cost advantages due to its lower room prices compared to competitors.The differentiation strategy focuses on building familial relationships with customers, and a focus on halal service, the Muslim niche market, and online marketing.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengukur dampak implementasi strategi pemasaran digital terhadap peningkatan pangsa pasar Desa Puri Syariah Hotel, dengan fokus pada analisis efektivitas berbagai platform media sosial dan strategi konten yang digunakan. Kedua, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan dengan membandingkan strategi kompetitif Desa Puri Syariah Hotel dengan strategi hotel syariah lain di Yogyakarta, untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan area yang perlu ditingkatkan. Ketiga, penelitian kualitatif mendalam dapat dilakukan untuk memahami persepsi dan preferensi pelanggan terhadap layanan dan fasilitas yang ditawarkan oleh Desa Puri Syariah Hotel, termasuk aspek-aspek seperti kualitas pelayanan, kebersihan, dan kenyamanan, guna meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan loyalitas merek. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih komprehensif tentang dinamika industri perhotelan syariah dan membantu Desa Puri Syariah Hotel dalam mengembangkan strategi yang lebih efektif untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan.
