This study aims to outline the legal risks and consequences of fake reviews in online commerce as they relate to Indonesian and Uzbek laws. The next goal is to learn about Indonesias legal reconstruction laws that shield online shoppers from fraudulent reviews. This study employs a legal research methodology that looks at pertinent legal provisions to what is actually taking place in society. Primary data are those that can be used as research materials. Information such as Uzbek and Indonesian laws and regulations that control the legal risks and effects of fraudulent reviews on internet sales, as well as secondary data that links the effects and the potential legal ramifications of fraudulent online reviews in Uzbekistan and Indonesia. This study approach reviews Uzbek and Indonesian legal guidelines and policies using statutory techniques. Because the researchs findings are presented in a descriptive-analytical way, this type of study is also known as descriptive-analytical research.

The study concludes that current laws in Uzbekistan do not adequately address the development of e-commerce, particularly regarding issues of document exchange and payment mechanisms.Indonesia possesses legal frameworks, such as Law No.8/1999 on Consumer Protection and Law No.11/2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions, that offer protection against fake reviews.However, effective enforcement and adaptation to the evolving digital landscape are crucial to safeguard consumers and maintain market integrity.

Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengkaji efektivitas implementasi regulasi terkait penanganan *fake review* di Indonesia dan Uzbekistan, termasuk peran aktif platform *e-commerce* dalam verifikasi ulasan. Selain itu, perlu diteliti bagaimana perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mendeteksi dan mencegah penyebaran *fake review* secara otomatis dan akurat. Terakhir, studi komparatif yang lebih mendalam mengenai kesadaran dan perilaku konsumen dalam menghadapi *fake review* di kedua negara dapat memberikan wawasan berharga untuk merumuskan strategi edukasi dan perlindungan konsumen yang lebih efektif. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan *e-commerce* yang lebih aman, transparan, dan terpercaya bagi konsumen dan pelaku usaha.
