This study aims to determine the influence of leadership, workload, and work stress on the performance of employees of the Secretariat of the Voting Committee of the General Election Commission of Ogan Ilir Regency (Regional Head and Deputy Regional Head Elections in 2024). The research found that leadership, workload, and work stress have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The study also revealed that leadership has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, while workload and work stress also contribute positively to performance. The results indicate that effective leadership, good workload management, and strategies for managing work stress are necessary to enhance the performance of the PPS secretariat in Ogan Ilir Regency.

There is a significant influence of leadership, workload, and work stress on the performance of employees of the Secretariat of the Voting Committee of the General Election Commission of Ogan Ilir Regency.The Secretariat should pay attention to these factors as they have a significant impact on employee performance.Effective leadership, balanced workload management, and attention to work stress experienced by employees are recommended to improve performance.By creating a positive work environment, providing motivation and support, and managing workload and stress effectively, the Secretariat can enhance employee performance and ensure the quality, quantity, and independence of their work.

To further enhance employee performance, future research could explore the impact of leadership styles and employee engagement on performance. Additionally, examining the role of work-life balance and its influence on employee productivity could provide valuable insights. Lastly, investigating the relationship between work stress and employee well-being, and how it affects performance, would contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing employee performance.
