Background: This study was conducted because a CHSE-based parenting health education textbook is considered important for reducing family tourists concerns about childrens illnesses at tourist attractions, which can be a burden on families and hinder their tourism experience. This concern has increased since the WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic, leading to a significant decline in tourism. Method: This study employed a descriptive quantitative approach and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The research sample included Kids Club Managers, IT Lecturers, childcare professionals, and early childhood educators, totaling 100 tourist families, 30 participants in FGDs, 30 media experts, and 30 material experts. Result: The research findings indicate that 60% of family travelers express worries, 64% experience parental burnout, and 85% recognize the need for parenting health education, leading to the development of a parenting textbook module for kids club hotels. Validation by material and media experts yielded positive results, with 50% and 60% deeming it very worthy and worthy respectively. Conclusion: The study concludes that a CHSE-based parenting health education textbook is suitable for implementation in kids club management and recommends that management utilize it as a reference to enhance the appeal of family tourism.

The research demonstrates the importance of a CHSE-based parenting health education textbook for addressing concerns related to childrens health during family tourism.The study found significant levels of worry among family travelers and parental burnout, highlighting the need for accessible health education resources.Therefore, the development and implementation of such a textbook in kids club hotels is recommended to improve the quality of care and attract more family tourists.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas jangka panjang dari penggunaan buku panduan kesehatan parenting berbasis CHSE dalam mengurangi tingkat kecemasan orang tua dan meningkatkan kepuasan wisatawan keluarga. Kedua, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan untuk membandingkan dampak dari berbagai metode penyampaian informasi kesehatan parenting, seperti lokakarya, seminar, dan aplikasi seluler, untuk mengidentifikasi pendekatan yang paling efektif. Ketiga, penelitian kualitatif dapat dilakukan untuk memahami secara mendalam pengalaman dan persepsi orang tua terhadap layanan kesehatan yang tersedia di kids club hotel, serta untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan harapan mereka yang belum terpenuhi. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih komprehensif tentang bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesehatan dan pengalaman wisata keluarga di Bali, serta berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi pariwisata yang lebih berkelanjutan dan bertanggung jawab.
