The phenomenon of intolerance occurs among teenagers, especially in the school environment, outside school and even in universities. This country needs to be aware of the potential for radicalism and address how to overcome it. Todays young generation, especially Muslims who are still laymen, are easily influenced by Ustads lectures on YouTube media (dawah) which are quite viral and whose scientific knowledge is not yet clear. Therefore, this activity aims to provide theoretical and practical assistance to strengthen the understanding of moderation through Tafsir Wasathiyah for Metro City IPNU and IPPNU students. This activity adopts the Asset Based Community Development method, an approach that makes potential a strength in developing a community. Participants in this activity were 20 IPNU and IPPNU Metro city students. This activity was carried out in the Madrasah Aliyah Roudhotut Tholibin Metro Utara Hall. The results of this activity show that 1] IPNU and IPPNU MA Maarif Roudhotut Thalibin students are potential human resource assets for developing their abilities; 2] Strengthening the understanding of moderation through wasathiyah interpretation for Metro City IPNU and IPPNU students is very useful in order to avoid radicalism; 3] Helping students to have a spirit of nationalism through the practice of Aswaja practice because students at this age are very vulnerable to being infiltrated by intolerant ideas.

The students of IPNU and IPPNU MA Maarif Roudhotut Thalibin are potential human resource assets to develop their abilities.Strengthening the understanding of moderation through interpretation wasathiyah for IPNU and IPPNU Metro City students is very useful to avoid radicalism.This helps students to have a spirit of nationalism through practicing Aswaja amaliyah because students at this age are vulnerable to intolerant ideas.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan dapat diajukan. Pertama, penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas jangka panjang dari program interpretasi Wasathiyah dalam membentuk karakter moderat pada siswa IPNU dan IPPNU, dengan menelusuri perubahan perilaku dan pandangan mereka dalam jangka waktu yang lebih lama. Kedua, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan dengan membandingkan pendekatan Wasathiyah ini dengan metode lain dalam membangun toleransi dan mencegah radikalisme di kalangan remaja, untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan keunggulan masing-masing pendekatan. Ketiga, penelitian kualitatif mendalam dapat dilakukan untuk memahami secara lebih komprehensif faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kerentanan siswa terhadap ideologi radikal, termasuk peran keluarga, lingkungan sosial, dan akses terhadap informasi di media sosial, sehingga dapat dirumuskan strategi pencegahan yang lebih tepat sasaran dan efektif. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam upaya memperkuat nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dan mencegah penyebaran radikalisme di kalangan generasi muda, serta memperkaya khazanah ilmu pengetahuan di bidang studi keagamaan dan sosial.
