In this pandemic, many people will stay at their home rather than go outside, thus making it hard to live regular daily life for many people, including for people who are learning language. The purpose of this analysis is to find another way of learning English by using a group chat platform. The method that we will use is by joining a group chat server on one group chatting platform called “Discord. The result of this analysis shows that joining a discord server you can talk with people from all around the world, study the use of grammar, test conversation skills, and measure English language understanding. From that result we can say that joining a discord server is another way of learning English without having to go outside and actually try your skill with a native speaker. In conclusion using discord is a good way to learn English in the pandemic era.

By using Discord, individuals can expand their social circles, receive assistance with grammatical corrections during chats, enhance their conversational abilities, and assess their English language proficiency.This platform provides a convenient and effective means of language learning, particularly during times when physical interaction is limited.Ultimately, Discord serves as a valuable tool for English language acquisition in the context of the current pandemic.

This research highlights the potential of Discord as a supplementary tool for English language learning. Future studies could investigate the effectiveness of Discord in improving specific language skills, such as writing or pronunciation, through dedicated activities and feedback mechanisms. Furthermore, research could explore the impact of different Discord server structures and moderation styles on learner engagement and outcomes. Finally, it would be beneficial to examine the long-term effects of using Discord for language learning, including the development of intercultural communication competence and sustained motivation to learn English, by comparing the learning outcomes of students who use Discord with those who use traditional learning methods.
