This research aims to foster awareness of clean water among students through the Zero Waste Water Day Program. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The research subjects are the 25 students of class VB at SDN Kalongan 02. The data collection technique used pretest and posttest questionnaires. This program uses a contextual and participatory approach, thereby directly involving the students. The implementation of the Zero Waste Water Day Program received a positive response from the students; they showed high curiosity, enthusiasm, and full spirit. Based on research data, students who participated in the Zero Waste Water Day Program demonstrated a better understanding of the importance of clean water for daily needs. The N-Gain test result of 0.7178 indicates an increase in the high category. Thus, the research results indicate that the Zero Waste Water Day Program is effective in fostering awareness of clean water among students. The study recommends the integration of such hands-on programs into the elementary school curriculum.

The implementation of the Zero Waste Water Day Program proved effective in increasing students awareness of clean water.This effectiveness can be attributed to the participatory and hands-on learning approach, which allowed students to be actively involved in real-life water conservation practices.7178 indicates that the increase in students awareness of clean water falls into the high category.Therefore, it is recommended that schools integrate the Zero Waste Water Day Program into their curriculum to continuously foster students sustainable awareness of water preservation.

Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas jangka panjang dari program Zero Waste Water Day dalam membentuk perilaku hemat air yang berkelanjutan pada siswa, dengan menelusuri kebiasaan mereka di rumah dan lingkungan sekitar. Selain itu, studi komparatif dapat dilakukan dengan membandingkan dampak program ini di berbagai sekolah dengan karakteristik sosio-ekonomi yang berbeda untuk memahami faktor-faktor kontekstual yang mempengaruhi keberhasilannya. Terakhir, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan modul pembelajaran yang lebih komprehensif dan terintegrasi, yang tidak hanya menekankan pentingnya hemat air, tetapi juga membahas isu-isu terkait pengelolaan air bersih, sanitasi, dan dampak perubahan iklim terhadap sumber daya air, sehingga siswa memiliki pemahaman yang lebih holistik dan mampu menjadi agen perubahan yang efektif dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan.
