The detailed discussion in this study is about the effect of leadership style on employee motivation at the Hilisataro Public Health Center, Toma District, South Nias Regency. An important objective in this study was to determine the effect of leadership style on employee motivation at the Hilisataro Public Health Center, Toma District, South Nias Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with simple linear regression analysis techniques. The data source in this study was the result of a questionnaire that was distributed to all employees at the Hilisataro Health Center, Toma District, South Nias Regency, as many as 47 people. The results of this study indicate that leadership style affects employee motivation at the Hilisataro Public Health Center, Toma District, South Nias Regency. Based on this, the results showing that leadership style affects employee motivation at the Hilisataro Public Health Center, Toma District, South Nias Regency, obtained a tcount of 12.408 and a ttable value of 1.679 at a significant level of 0.00 < 0.05. Then, the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) show that the leadership style variable is able to influence employee motivation by 0.774 or the equivalent of 77.4%. Thus, it can be concluded that when the leadership style has a positive increase, it will affect employee motivation to increase.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai di puskesmas hilisataro kecamatan toma kabupaten nias selatan.Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung sebesar 12,408 > ttabel 1,679 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05.Selain itu, koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,774 menunjukkan bahwa variabel gaya kepemimpinan mampu menjelaskan 77,4% variasi pada motivasi kerja.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemimpin puskesmas perlu lebih melibatkan staf dalam perencanaan dan kegiatan organisasi, serta memperhatikan cara atau strategi yang sesuai dengan keinginan pegawai. Selain itu, pemimpin diharapkan dapat mengembangkan gaya kepemimpinan yang positif dan mendukung, serta memberikan perhatian pada pemenuhan kebutuhan pegawai. Penelitian lanjutan dapat dilakukan dengan mengeksplorasi pengaruh faktor-faktor lain seperti komunikasi, pelatihan, dan kesejahteraan pegawai terhadap motivasi kerja. Studi lebih lanjut juga dapat dilakukan dengan membandingkan efektivitas berbagai gaya kepemimpinan dalam konteks pelayanan kesehatan di daerah dengan karakteristik sosial-budaya yang berbeda. Terakhir, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan model kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan pegawai dan tuntutan pelayanan kesehatan yang dinamis, dengan mempertimbangkan kearifan lokal dan nilai-nilai budaya Nias Selatan.
