This study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of using physics e-books adapted to learning style in understanding material about global warming and improving students problem-solving skills. The independent variable in this study was the use of physics e-books based on learning style in global warming material, while the dependent variable was students skills to solve related problems. The research method used was pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design at SMAN 10 Yogyakarta, involving 61 grade X students who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Assessment of students problem-solving skills is carried out by referring to previously established indicators. The data were then analyzed using SPSS, including tests for normality, homogeneity, one-way ANOVA, and N-gain. The research results indicated that although students problem-solving abilities were in the moderate category, the use of physics e-books integrating students learning styles significantly improved their understanding of global warming material. This indicates that the use of electronic teaching materials that are adapted to students learning styles can have a positive impact on their cognitive development. Thus, students can learn more effectively by adhering to their learning styles and overcoming learning challenges through the guidance provided in the e-book.

The use of physics E-books adapted to learning styles in global warming material significantly improved students problem-solving skills, as reflected in the high influence scores in both modeling and implementation classes. The study demonstrates that employing E-books designed based on learning styles effectively enhances students ability to address problem-solving challenges. Therefore, developing the appearance design of E-books to increase student engagement and including example questions and practice problems for effective monitoring are recommended.

Further research could investigate the long-term effects of using learning style-adapted e-books on students retention of knowledge and their ability to apply problem-solving skills in novel contexts. Additionally, studies could explore the optimal design features of e-books for different learning styles, considering factors such as visual layout, interactive elements, and the integration of multimedia resources. Another promising avenue for research is to examine the effectiveness of combining learning style-adapted e-books with other innovative pedagogical approaches, such as collaborative learning or project-based learning, to create a more holistic and engaging learning experience. Investigating the impact of teacher training on the successful implementation of learning style-adapted e-books is also crucial, ensuring educators are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively integrate these resources into their teaching practices. Finally, research could focus on adapting these e-books for different subject areas and educational levels, expanding their potential benefits to a wider range of learners and contexts, ultimately contributing to more personalized and effective learning experiences.
