Future research should explore the influence of non-financial factors, such as industry-specific environmental regulations and stakeholder pressure, on sustainability report disclosures within the Indonesian healthcare sector. Investigating the mediating role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance between the identified factors and sustainability reporting could provide a more nuanced understanding of the relationship. Additionally, a comparative study across different industries in Indonesia could reveal sector-specific drivers and barriers to comprehensive sustainability reporting, ultimately informing policy recommendations and best practices for enhancing corporate sustainability performance and transparency. These studies should also consider qualitative approaches, such as interviews with company executives and stakeholders, to gain deeper insights into the motivations and challenges related to sustainability reporting.
