Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Regional Office Bandung, as a leading financial institution in Indonesia, faces various challenges in providing credit card application services to customers. These challenges include a slow application process, inefficient data verification, and a suboptimal Approval Rate. The previous blog-based registration process often caused delays and increased the risk of data input errors. Limited access to information also hindered customer satisfaction. The use of information technology in the form of an AppSheet-based application is a solution to overcome these problems. This research aims to conduct a case study on the use of AppSheet in the credit card application process at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Regional Office Bandung, specifically to improve the Approval Rate. The research seeks to develop a no-code-based application to process customer data quickly, simplify the verification process, and present Approval Rate reports in real-time. The research method used is the Waterfall method, as it is considered most suitable for assessing the implementation of the AppSheet application in actual work systems and evaluating its impact on operational efficiency.

Based on the discussion, the development of the AppSheet-based credit card application has several key conclusions.First, the register input is integrated, accelerating the approval process.Second, the customer data verification process runs efficiently and supports smooth operations.Third, the Approval Rate has been optimized with adequate system support and real-time information access.Therefore, it is recommended that BRI management utilize no-code/low-code platforms like AppSheet and implement real-time monitoring systems to enhance oversight.Further research should involve testing on a larger scale across more BRI branches to assess system performance consistency and develop mobile-friendly features for optimal usability.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, terdapat beberapa saran penelitian lanjutan yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperluas pemahaman dan meningkatkan efektivitas sistem pengajuan kartu kredit berbasis AppSheet. Pertama, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada integrasi sistem AppSheet dengan sumber data eksternal, seperti data kredit dari Biro Kredit, untuk meningkatkan akurasi penilaian risiko kredit dan mengurangi potensi kredit macet. Kedua, studi lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan teknologi Machine Learning (ML) dalam proses persetujuan kartu kredit, misalnya untuk mengidentifikasi pola-pola yang mengindikasikan potensi risiko kredit atau untuk mengotomatiskan proses pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditetapkan. Ketiga, penelitian dapat menguji efektivitas aplikasi AppSheet dalam meningkatkan inklusi keuangan dengan menargetkan kelompok masyarakat yang sebelumnya sulit mengakses layanan kartu kredit, seperti pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) atau masyarakat di daerah terpencil. Penelitian ini dapat mengidentifikasi fitur-fitur tambahan yang diperlukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spesifik kelompok masyarakat tersebut dan memastikan bahwa aplikasi AppSheet dapat diakses dan digunakan secara efektif oleh semua kalangan.
