This article provides an in-depth exploration of strategies for enhancing reading comprehension among students. The research examines innovative and traditional methods applied in varied educational contexts, highlighting approaches like Question-Answer Relationship (QAR), game-based learning, and cooperative techniques. Synthesizing findings from prior studies, the article underscores the pivotal role of emotional factors such as reading anxiety, motivation, and their interplay with comprehension. Moreover, the analysis considers the impact of technological advancements and the integration of flipped classrooms in fostering inferential and critical reading skills. Key findings reveal the importance of tailored interventions, equitable access to resources, and the incorporation of cohesion-focused instruction to address diverse learning needs. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for educators and a call for longitudinal studies to assess the sustainability and adaptability of these strategies in global contexts.

This study underscores the significance of employing diverse strategies to enhance reading comprehension.Approaches such as the Question-Answer Relationship (QAR), game-based learning, flipped classrooms, and cohesion-focused instruction have shown considerable promise in addressing challenges faced by learners.Key findings highlight the effectiveness of QAR and the importance of addressing psychological barriers like reading anxiety.Ultimately, this study reaffirms the transformative potential of innovative and evidence-based reading comprehension strategies.

Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk menguji efektivitas jangka panjang dari strategi-strategi yang telah diidentifikasi, terutama dalam konteks yang berbeda-beda. Selain itu, penelitian dapat difokuskan pada pengembangan intervensi yang lebih personal dan adaptif, yang mempertimbangkan tingkat kecemasan membaca dan gaya belajar individu siswa. Selanjutnya, penting untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana teknologi, seperti kecerdasan buatan, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan umpan balik yang lebih tepat waktu dan relevan kepada siswa, sehingga meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan mereka secara berkelanjutan. Penelitian juga dapat menyelidiki efektivitas pendekatan pembelajaran campuran yang menggabungkan metode tradisional dengan inovasi digital, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kontekstual yang memengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi strategi-strategi ini di berbagai lingkungan pendidikan. Terakhir, studi komparatif lintas budaya diperlukan untuk memahami bagaimana strategi pemahaman bacaan dapat diadaptasi dan dioptimalkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dari berbagai latar belakang linguistik dan budaya.
