This study investigates the roles of Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence in enhancing Employee Performance in the Youth and Sports Office of South Tangerang City, with Organizational Commitment serving as the mediating variable. Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence act as independent factors, whilst Employee Performance is the dependent variable, with Organizational Commitment serving as the intermediary that links them. Data were collected via questionnaires administered to 165 workers and evaluated using a quantitative methodology with an associative study design. The investigation used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) method. The results show that Emotional Intelligence substantially enhances Organizational Commitment, and Spiritual Intelligence also has a notable positive effect. Emotional Intelligence has a good direct influence on Employee Performance, while Spiritual Intelligence also considerably adds. Organizational Commitment significantly impacts Employee Performance. The research indicates that both Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence improve Employee Performance when mediated by Organizational Commitment. These findings underscore the critical importance of corporate commitment in enhancing the impact of emotional and spiritual competencies on employee performance.

The study concludes that both Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence significantly influence Organizational Commitment and Employee Performance at the Youth and Sports Office of South Tangerang City.Organizational Commitment plays a crucial mediating role, amplifying the positive effects of these intelligences on employee outcomes.These findings highlight the importance of fostering emotional and spiritual competencies alongside strengthening employee commitment to enhance overall performance.

Penelitian lebih lanjut perlu dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana karakteristik kepemimpinan transformasional dapat memoderasi hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan komitmen organisasi di lingkungan pelayanan publik. Selain itu, studi komparatif antara berbagai instansi pemerintah di Indonesia dapat memberikan wawasan tentang efektivitas intervensi yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual dan komitmen karyawan. Terakhir, penelitian kualitatif yang mendalam, seperti wawancara dan observasi partisipan, dapat digunakan untuk memahami secara lebih komprehensif bagaimana karyawan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual di tempat kerja dan bagaimana hal ini memengaruhi motivasi, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja mereka. Penelitian-penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi yang lebih spesifik dan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di sektor publik, sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan yang lebih baik kepada masyarakat.
