The digital era provides significant opportunities for the development of Islamic preaching (dakwah) through information technology. However, challenges to the competence and capabilities of imams, preachers (dai), and khatibs have also intensified. This study aims to explore the implementation of the certification program for Imams, Dai, and Khatibs in Bandar Lampung City as an effort to optimize dakwah in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the studys findings indicate that this certification program not only enhances competence in delivering digital-based dakwah but also promotes professionalism in preaching. Technological support, government regulations, and collaboration with the community are key factors contributing to the success of this program.

Further research should investigate the long-term impact of the certification program on the quality and reach of dawah in Bandar Lampung City, potentially through comparative studies with regions without similar initiatives. Additionally, studies could explore the effectiveness of different digital platforms and content formats in engaging diverse demographics, particularly the millennial generation, to tailor dawah messages for maximum impact. Finally, research is needed to identify best practices for integrating religious moderation principles into the digital dawah curriculum, ensuring that certified religious leaders are equipped to promote tolerance and counter extremist narratives effectively in the online space. These investigations, building upon the current program, will contribute to a more robust and adaptable approach to dawah in the evolving digital landscape, fostering a more informed and harmonious society.
