Based on the background, methods, results, and limitations of this study, further research could explore the optimization of ginger balm formulations by varying the concentration of ginger extract and combining it with other medicinal plants known for their analgesic properties. Additionally, a comparative study could be conducted to assess the efficacy of the homemade ginger balm versus commercially available pain relief balms, considering factors like onset of action, duration of effect, and user satisfaction. Finally, research could investigate the potential of scaling up the production of ginger balm through community-based enterprises, providing economic opportunities for local farmers and promoting the sustainable utilization of ginger as a valuable medicinal resource. This would involve assessing the feasibility of establishing small-scale production units, developing quality control measures, and exploring marketing strategies to reach a wider consumer base, ultimately contributing to improved healthcare access and economic empowerment within the community.
