Just a moment...Just a moment...Government communication through social media has become a significant phenomenon in the digital age. This research summarizes the strategies, objectives and impact of government communication on social media platforms such as twitter, Instagram, facebook and so on. The research method used is a qualitative method by conducting surveys with data analysis techniques through triangulation. The results of discussions and conclusions through data analysis both by observation and online interaction that the government must be able to use social media to increase public engagement, convey policies and respond to important issues regarding the policies of the government itself, although effective in reaching a broad audience, challenges including crisis management that urgently need to be anticipated, as well as narrative control systems and sustainable participation society in national builders. In the future, this research can be further needed to understand the dynamics of the evolution of government communication in this digital era.
Government communication in the digital age is crucial for building public trust and ensuring the successful implementation of policies.Effective communication requires a responsive and open organizational structure, updated procedures that leverage digital platforms, and an understanding of the communitys digital culture.By prioritizing transparency, engagement, and consistency in messaging, the government can strengthen its relationship with the public and foster greater participation in national development.
To further enhance the effectiveness of government communication in the digital era, future research should explore the development of targeted communication strategies tailored to different demographic groups, considering their specific information needs and preferences. Additionally, studies could investigate the role of artificial intelligence and data analytics in identifying and addressing misinformation or negative sentiment related to government policies, particularly concerning initiatives like the reserve component program. Finally, research should focus on evaluating the long-term impact of digital communication on citizen engagement and trust in government, examining whether increased online interaction translates into greater civic participation and a stronger sense of national unity, while also addressing potential challenges like digital divides and the spread of disinformation.
