International Journal of Education, Information Technology, and OthersInternational Journal of Education, Information Technology, and OthersThe purpose of this research is to improve the application and influence of information technology on tourism village marketing strategy. The use of descriptive methods in this study with interviews to get information related to this research, such as culture, traditional dance, traditional food and local handicraft products of the community in the tourist village. The results of this study show that by applying information technology to the marketing strategy of tourism villages will increase the economic income of local people in tourist villages and attract local and foreign tourists to visit. The conclusion obtained in this research is that the application of information technology has a positive impact on the marketing strategy of tourism villages in improving the economic growth of tourist village communities.
The application of Information Technology plays a significant role in supporting the marketing strategy of tourism villages.The potential of information technology encourages individuals to promote digital media, including content marketing and social media.This research highlights the importance of applying marketing strategies and supporting factors, particularly information technology, to enhance tourism village marketing.
Further research could explore the specific types of information technology most effective for tourism village marketing, considering factors like internet access and digital literacy among villagers. Investigating the role of social media platforms in shaping tourist perceptions and behaviors towards these villages presents another valuable avenue for study. Additionally, research should focus on developing tailored training programs for tourism village communities to optimize their use of technology for marketing purposes, ensuring sustainable and equitable benefits from tourism growth. These studies will contribute to a deeper understanding of how technology can empower local communities and enhance the overall tourism experience, fostering economic development and cultural preservation.
