Employee attendance is a record of a persons attendance time in a document that is properly prepared as a reference in making decisions within the scope of research. In Perhentian Marpoyan Village, the employee attendance system used is still manual, which can lead to loss or damage of existing data, lack of efficiency and effectiveness in data processing, and inaccuracies in the data. Based on these problems, a Web-based Employee Attendance Information System was created at Perhentian Marpoyan Village. The method that researchers use to create this system is the Agile Development method and uses OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis Design) modeling. This web-based employee attendance information system will be able to provide convenience in the employee attendance process, search for attendance data and minimize loss and errors in recording attendance data at Perhentian Marpoyan Village.

Conclusion

The design of a web-based employee attendance information system in Perhentian Marpoyan Village enhances effectiveness in data processing and aids employees, particularly in compiling data reports.The Agile Development method utilized is instrumental for future project planning, accelerating system development, and organizing work plans for subsequent periods.Further enhancements are necessary, including direct collaboration with the village to record attendance effectively and ensuring a stable internet connection for data checking and reporting.

Future Research

Future research should explore the integration of biometric authentication methods, such as fingerprint or facial recognition, to enhance the security and accuracy of employee attendance records. Additionally, investigating the potential of incorporating real-time location tracking, utilizing GPS technology, could provide more detailed insights into employee work patterns and improve resource allocation. Finally, a comparative study analyzing the long-term cost-effectiveness and user satisfaction of the web-based system versus alternative attendance tracking solutions, including mobile applications or cloud-based platforms, would be valuable. These investigations will contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of attendance management systems and inform the development of more efficient and reliable solutions for organizations like Perhentian Marpoyan Village, ultimately improving operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. The proposed research will build upon the current systems foundation by addressing potential limitations and exploring innovative technologies to optimize attendance tracking processes.
